Sadness is a Blessing

Lykke Li's new Album "Wounded Rhymes" is a stellar follow up to Youth Novels, and although much darker in nature, it's more mature, incredibly brooding, and utterly magnificent.


I've been a huuuuge fan of hers since Little Bit and respect her for shying away from the limelight and focusing on her own sound.  Her latest single, Sadness is a Blessing is another fanstastic piece and the accompanying video is just as beautiful... 


This song is apparently dedicated to her father; Li posted it on her website with a brief note saying:

"Father,

I know I Broke

Your heart, it was never

My intention, all I

Ever wanted was to

Dance…"

 Now of course I love this song even more.
